We would like to take the time to let you know how things will be working here moving forward at The Duke.
As a booked table you will be entering along our meadow pathway and along the gravel pathway and entering into the marquee via our new steps on the bank. You will be then seated at your table for table service throughout your dining experience with us.
We are asking you as a booked table to please confirm that you’re booking is from no more than two households. The guidelines state that “Indoor gatherings should only be occurring in groups of up to two households (including support bubbles) while outdoor gatherings should only be occurring in groups of up to two households (or support bubbles), or a group of at most six people from any number of households” this is something we have to adhere until we are advised otherwise.
Due to the limited space in the Old Duke area, this will be closed off to customers to ensure the safety of our staff, when you arrive and if you do not have a booking you will be able to find a table in the front of the garden only, the terrace & decking area is reserved for booked tables only and have to be reserved. You will be able to queue up keeping a social distance of 1m around our pergola and then will be called to a window to order drinks or food, the bar staff will then make your drinks and you will be given them at the window closest to the front door, please remember your table number as this will speed the process up.
